Educational facilities drive our local economic development and overall skill level of our workforce. Within a 30 minute drive of Haywood County are six community colleges and universities that offer excellent educational training and enrichment opportunities for businesses and their employees. Many of our area universities and community colleges have received state and national honors, accolades and awards.
